The FIA World Endurance Championship (officially FIA World Endurance Championship, WEC for short) is a racing series for sports prototypes and Gran Turismos created by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. Since 2012, it has been organised based on the rules and guidelines of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
