RAVENOL Surface Sealant RV 57-4 has excellent impact-, shear- and vibration resistance and is easy to apply. It is ideally suited for sealing flanges of various sizes and types. Ensures a tight connection without damaging the surface. The sealant is able to bridge gaps of up to 0.5 mm. against corrosion, seizure and wear.

RAVENOL Surface Sealant RV 57-4 is highly dense, highly viscous, fluorescent and difficult to remove after application. After 15-30 minutes the sealant is already hand-dense and after 12 hours the final hardening (100% of the strength) is achieved.

Application Note

RAVENOL Surface Sealant RV 57-4 should only be applied to completely clean surfaces (free of grease, dirt, etc.). Our RAVENOL Sealant Remover is very suitable for removing old seals, rough soiling, residues or similar pollutions. In addition, the surface can be slightly roughened to optimize the result.

RAVENOL Surface Sealant RV 57-4 is applied evenly, while avoiding contact between the dosing tip and the application surface. Ensure that the applied trace is applied without interruptions. Then

quickly join the two surfaces to be sealed and screw them together. When used on pipe threads, apply evenly, align and screw tight. Sealant that has been in contact with the metal surface must be prevented from returning into the container, as even the smallest amounts of metal are sufficient to harden the contents.
