RAVENOL Anti Seize 1200 is a high-temperature resistant, silicone-free anti-corrosion assembly paste based on a synthetic oil mixture. It separates and lubricates highly stressed parts and therefore provides long-term protection against corrosion, seizure and wear.
RAVENOL Anti Seize 1200 can be used for a wide range of applications thanks to its selected additives and precisely balanced solid components, while its sulphur content is less than 0.1%. This also prevents the occurrence of stick-slip effects, oxidation, electrolytic reactions (also known as ``cold welding´´) and fretting corrosion.
Application Note
RAVENOL Anti Seize 1200 has been developed for use on highly stressed components such as threads, screw heads, wheel hubs and similar applications. For screws, the assembly paste should be applied from the base of the thread to the screw head (underside), which then creates a sealing effect. In order not to impair the effect of the assembly paste, it should not be mixed with greases or oils. Furthermore, it does not substitute dedicated oil or grease lubrication.
RAVENOL Anti Seize 1200 can be applied directly to the stressed area of the component using the included brush. Before use, clean the surface with cleaners such as the RAVENOL Bremsenreiniger (brake cleaner).
RAVENOL Anti Seize 1200 should be stored dry and at room temperature. It should be ensured that the container is tightly closed and not stored together with other oxidizing substances. If stored properly, the container has a storage stability of 24 months.
