RAVENOL ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo is an eco-friendly coolant free from 2-ethylhexanoic acid. It is a borate, nitrite and phosphate-free coolant for cooling circuits in combustion engines based on 1,2- ethanediol (monoethylene glycol), which provides maintenance-free corrosion and frost protection. This product is formulated as long-term radiator protection based on the latest Si-OAT technology. Organic acids work together with mineral silicates to provide the best possible protection.

The quality of an antifreeze is no longer just determined by the antifreeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product), but also by the rust protection. That is why automakers subject antifreeze to lengthy corrosion and cavitation tests.

RAVENOL ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo protects the cooling system from corrosion, frost and from overheating in summer.

ATTENTION: Never use undiluted! We recommend a mixing ratio of 50:50 (vol %). The minimum proportion of antifreeze concentrate should be between 35% - 60%, otherwise the product will not have a sufficient effect.

General information on antifreeze/legal changes:

Due to reform of the European Chemicals Agency, a classification and labeling of many radiator antifreeze products will change this year.

As a result, products containing 2-ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA) as a corrosion inhibitor may no longer be sold over the counter. These products will then fall under the Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance in Germany.

We are currently in the transition period, which should allow all affected parties to sell stock and shelf stock before November 23rd 2023 and to change the product range accordingly.

At RAVENOL, theese products are effected: RAVENOL OTC – Products with the article numbers: 1410110, 1410112, 1410113 and 1410141 will be given a new formulation from May 2023, which will allow the free sale to continue. As soon as we sell goods with the new formulation, we will inform you separately.

Existing stocks (with the old formulation) fall under the EU regulation and must be removed from the shelves / sold out in the EU by 23/11/2023  RAVENOL LTC – Products with the article numbers: 1410125, 1410126, 1410127, 1410144 will be removed from the range. Existing stock falls under the EU regulation and must be taken off the shelves / sold out in the EU by 23/11/2023.

As replacement products for RAVENOL LTC we recommend RAVENOL ETC C12evo products 1410165 and 1410166.
