RAVENOL is expanding its industrial portfolio with the fully synthetic SWT gear oil series, which is available in five viscosity grades and designed for the entire spectrum of modern industrial gearboxes—from conveyor systems, Mills and rotary furnaces to port and crane facilities, marine propulsion systems, and mining machinery, all the way to wind turbines, rolling plants, drives in water and wastewater technology, and many other applications across the entire industry.
For operators of facilities with a wide variety of machinery, service providers and lubrication/service managers, this means a significant simplification of inventory management and product logistics: Instead of multiple manufacturer-specific specialty oils, the appropriate viscosity grade from the RAVENOL SWT line is now sufficient for a wide range of different gear types within the same facility.
The formulation of SWT oils is designed not only to meet the requirements of the specified performance standards, but to far exceed them in the areas of wear protection, thermal stability, resistance to aging, foaming behavior, and resistance to micropitting / White Etching Crack (WEC) resistance, filterability, and seal compatibility, which is reflected in extendable oil change intervals, greater reliability, and optimized efficiency.
In addition to many other performance standards and application recommendations met, the gear oils in the RAVENOL SWT line are approved by the following manufacturers with many individual approvals:
