DTM will start the racing season 2021 in Monza beginning from June 18th till 20th.
The Tyrolean Lucas Auer has already completed over seventy DTM races since the 2015 and this year will be driving a Mercedes AMG GT3 in the DTM for RAVENOL partner HTP Winward Racing.
The paths of 'Luggi' and RAVENOL crossed a few years ago when Lucas Auer, as a driver and RAVENOL, as a series partner were initially involved in the ATS Formula 3 Cup and later in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
This year, RAVENOL will be prominently represented on the event platform both as a lubricant partner of the DTM Trophy and as a technical partner to numerous DTM teams. So it fits well that Lucas Auer - whose uncle Gerhard Berger is responsible for the DTM - and RAVENOL will be working together in the future. Above all, RAVENOL and 'Luggi' will offer their fans some special insights into the field of activity and a racing weekend of a DTM driver. For this purpose, there will be demonstrated some short videos by Lucas during and after the events, in which he describes his weekend. Competition campaigns such as a raffle to win signed driver caps are also planned for the course of the season.
Lucas Auer: “For anyone who has been actively involved in motorsport as soon as for the observers from outside there is no way to come around RAVENOL. That's why I'm very happy that such an important company is counting on me as a drver."
Martin Huning, Director Motorsport RAVENOL: "With Lucas Auer we have an accomplished touring car driver on board who will in future give exclusive insights into his job and also into the DTM environment."
