From now on, RAVENOL will be supplying traditional manufacturer Donkervoort Automobielen of the Netherlands with its high-performance products. “Our company philosophies are simply perfectly aligned”, commented Denis Donkervoort at a press event held in Lelystad, the Netherlands. Both companies wish to work closely together in the longer term and so have signed a 5-year contract from the outset.

Donkervoort Automobielen has been manufacturing exceptional sports cars at its modern factory in Lelystad near Amsterdam since 1978. They make super sports cars for people who yearn for heightened sensory experiences, an unfiltered driving experience and the purest connection between car and driver. Donkervoort's top roadster catapults itself from 0 to 100 in 2.7 seconds, with 400 bhp and an dry weight of less than 700 kg.

Since they started, Donkervoort Automobielen has built more than 1,200 sports cars. Next to the production of road legal sportscars, Donkervoort is also building racecars. The fact that they had their own brand cup in the 1990s and 2000s and set a lap record on the Nordschleife in 2004 and 2005 speaks for itself. Donkervoort was also GT4 European Cup Vice Champion and winner of the 2011 24 hours’ race in Dubai.

First and foremost, a Donkervoort offers the ultimate driving experience. These cars do not feature any electronic assistances: no ABS, no ESP, no power steering. The ultra-rigid chassis and the specially designed wheel suspension mean that driving a Donkervoort is the ultimate experience. This means reliable technical protection is even more important: The first fill for the latest D8 GTO model with its powerful 2.5 litre TFSI 5-cylinder Audi turbo engine will be of high-performance engine oil RAVENOL RSS SAE 10W-60 with special USVO® technology. This special oil has been developed for an extremely sporty driving style, with the acceleration stats of super sports cars.

Both companies also share a partner in Audi, as RAVENOL has been supplying Audi RS3 LMS TCR customer sport models with its high performance lubricants as the “Audi Sport customer racing official supplier” for many years now.
