RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3

RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3 has excellent impact, shear and vibration resistance and is easy to use. It is ideally suited for sealing threads of various sizes and types. Ensures a tight connection without damaging the surface. The threadlocker is able to bridge gaps of up to 0.25 mm and can be applied to threaded connections up to M 36.

RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3 is medium-strength, medium/high viscosity, fluorescent and can be disassembled normally after application. After 10-20 minutes the threadlocker is already hand-tight and after 1-3 hours the final hardness (100% of the strength) is reached.

Application Note

RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3 should only be applied to completely cleaned components (free of grease, dirt and similar pollutions). RAVENOL Sealant Remover is very suitable for removing old seals, rougher soiling or residues. In addition, the surface can be slightly roughened to optimize the result.

RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3 should be applied evenly, while avoiding contact between the dosing tip and the application surface. Threadlocker that has come into contact with the metal surface has to be prevented from returning into the container, as even the smallest amounts of metal are sufficient to harden the contents.

Note:

RAVENOL Thread Lock RV 24-3 must be stored in distance to heat sources and out of direct sunlight. If stored properly and at room temperature, the sealed container can be stored for 24 months. The air content in the container ensures that it remains liquid.
