In the livery launch, the squad presented the car’s new livery and the team’s new name – with RAVENOL, the high-performance lubricant, also being involved.
In the run-up to the Canadian International AutoShow, in Toronto, RAVENOL’s partner in Formula One presented their new livery for the 2019 season.
At the same time, the team name also was changed. With immediate effect, the Silverstone based F1 Team that is owned by the company Racing Point UK Limited is called SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team.
The new title sponsor also makes an impact on the cars’ appearance. The livery for the 2019 season will mainly be dominated by the colour of the last season and a low proportion of blue.
In a ceremonial act, the team’s driver pairing for 2017 – Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll – unveiled the team’s challenger for the coming F1 season, thus launching the F1 car for the numerous representatives of the motor-racing media on site and the whole world. The barge boards and the racing overalls of the two drivers are well visibly decorated with the RAVENOL logo.
The involvement at the pinnacle of motor racing that emerged from the partnership with Sahara Force India now smoothly turns into the close cooperation with SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team – a fact that also is very clearly underlined by the new composite logo (official lubricant partner), in the future.
