Start of the Formula One tests at Barcelona: the SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team and RAVENOL are in good spirits and just can’t wait to find out more about the competitiveness of their new F1 single-seater, the RP19.
The SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team is absolutely focused on the testing work be executed in the coming weeks at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The extensive testing takes place in two phases, from 18th to 21st February and from 26th February to 01st March. The Silverstone based team will execute the scheduled testing programme together with its official lubricant partner, RAVENOL, to travel – a short time later – to Melbourne for the 2019 F1 season opener, the GP Australia (17th March).
According the schedule for the first week, Sergio Perez will test the RP19 on Monday and Wednesday, with Lance Stroll taking over on Tuesday and Thursday.
